THE GIM DOCTORAL CONFERENCE (GIMDC – 2025)

The GIM Doctoral Conference (GIMDC - 2025) aims to foster research in management among doctoral students, emphasising emerging regional, national, and international issues of research significance. In pursuit of this objective, GIM has been hosting annually a Doctoral Conference in the field of Management.

The GIMDC conference seeks to unite doctoral students from diverse institutions, providing a platform to discuss and disseminate valuable insights. It aspires to facilitate interaction with senior researchers and academicians in the management domain, offering budding scholars an opportunity to elevate the quality of their research work. Additionally, the conference is aimed at initiating future collaborative endeavours among young researchers with varied affiliations.

We extend a warm invitation to doctoral scholars in the field of management, both from India and abroad, to actively participate in this scholarly endeavor. Together, let us contribute to the advancement of management knowledge and foster meaningful research collaborations for the future.

ELIGIBILITY & AUTHOR GUIDELINES
ELIGIBILITY
  • The conference is open to any registered management doctoral student (FPM or PhD) from management institutes/ Universities in India or abroad. 
  • Only one paper per student is allowed; while co-authorship with guide/faculty/students is permitted (the paper must be presented by the doctoral student at the conference)
  • The paper should not have been published or accepted for publication in any academic journal.
AUTHOR GUIDELINES
  • The conference accepts both extended abstracts and full papers
  • The extended abstract must be a minimum of 700 words and should not exceed 2000 words
  • The full paper should not exceed 6000 words
  • Both the extended abstract and full paper must accompany an abstract (strictly between 100-200 words) and 4-5 keywords
  • The full paper should have a title page containing the paper title, name(s) of the author(s), affiliation, and e-mail address of the corresponding author
  • The main document should be double-spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides, and the pages should be numbered consecutively
  • The paper should follow Times New Roman 12-point font and should be submitted in a Word document or PDF
  • The paper should follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition referencing style
  • Only submissions in the English language will be considered
  • Submissions not adhering to the guidelines will not be considered

REGISTRATION
  • At least one author of each accepted paper must be registered for the conference for that paper to appear in the proceedings and be scheduled for presentation.
  • However, for individual certificates all co-authors have to pay the registration fee
  • Registered members are asked to intimate about the registration immediately.
  • Any modification in the paper will not be accepted after the final submission date.
  • Maximum up to five authors/co-authors per paper are allowed for participate.
  • No registration will be entertained after last date of registration.

The conference will be held in offline mode. 
(However, some speakers mostly from abroad may participate online)

Goa Institute of Management, (Sanquelim campus), North Goa, India.

ACCOMMODATION

Due to limited capacity on campus, participants requiring accommodation on the campus have to indicate the same at the time of registration. The participants will be provided with campus accommodation on a first-come, first-served basis, which is chargeable separately. A flat rate of INR 3540 per person will be chargeable for accommodation (Maximum stay of 3 nights). The amount is to be paid online on the webpage of the conference.
